This 11 layer reduction woodblock print was inspired by the Northshore of Oahu, Hawaii. Fathom and Release communicates the frailty and strength of the human experience. We fathom the hardships, the big picture, and our place in the universe all in a breath of ocean spray, and then release it to start the journey of the day. The size is 24.5" x 20.25" and the image is printed with oil based inks on 30" x 22" acid free Rives BFK. Due to the hand inking process, variations in color occur and each piece is unique.
